Been going to curves, Ilkeston for almost a year, and I feel healthier and fitter. Since the return after the lockdown, it feels safe, clean and they've definitely taken the situation seriously and implemented new procedures. Having said this, its still fun and easy going and the coaches are great !! Rachael W :-)
I walked through the doors 6 weeks before lockdown wanting to change my health and fitness for the better. The support and motivation I have had from the coaches constant mentoring, even during lockdown has helped me lose 2 1/2 stone so far, it literally has changed my life forever .
Safe, friendly staff and only takes 30 minutes on the machines
I was very apprehensive about joining a gym as I feel very self conscious about my weight and lack of fitness. After finally plucking up the courage I booked a free consultation at Curves Ilkeston and I'm so glad I did. From the minute I walked through the door I felt at ease, the coaches are great, so friendly and helpful. I was nervous going to my first actual session but again I needn't have worried. The coaches talk you through everything and make sure you are doing things right for you. There is no waiting around or having to change weights and fiddling about with settings on the machines and no worries that you're holding anyone up, as you all move from machine to board to machine at the same time. Its brill and I always feel so much better for going. Huge thanks to all the ladies at Curves Ilkeston :)
Joining curves has been eye opening and a joy. The staff are amazingly supportive, as are the other users. A quick workout in a non intimidating environment was exactly what I needed and curves offers just that whilst genuinely caring about the users. Staff get to know each user personally and know exactly what they need for each step of the journey. I would highly recommend joining curves!
