My Mum had an appointment for a blood test, she doesn't speak english very good so my sister was with her to help but unfortunately a "very rude" staff member have not let her in (It was not first appointment and never had a problem before). GP should review their own staff attitude....

I had an appointment today at 9.45, I was at the surgery 10 minutes before my appointment, it’s extremely difficult for me to get an appointment as I work away most of the week so booked an appointment in advance for a routine blood test. The receptionist took my details and said have a seat, I was waiting 45 minutes, then decided to ask again if I had to wait much longer as I had another appointment, the receptionist then tried to tell me I had turned up late which is why all the other patients was being seen before me. This was extremely frustrating as I was actually early for my appointment by 10 minutes. I was eventually seen by the nurse who was lovely apologetic and very professional, as she confirmed that the receptionist had not even signed me in so Emily who took my bloods wasn’t even aware I was sat here waiting. I find it appalling that this can happen at the moment with the Covid situation, having to sit waiting in a doctors surgery for almost an hour, and then to top it off to discover the receptionist had not even informed the nurse I was here and to try and blame me by saying I was late. I will most definitely be looking at transferring to another surgery in the future.

I have found that staff on the phone and desk very helpful. The GPS have been very kind and helpful to my family of multi needs. It can be difficult getting thru online. Im fortunate that I can go straight there at opening times to get an appointment.

Absolutely pointless ringing for an appointment. I have been trying every morning for 4 days. Around 50+ Attempts a day and no luck. The annoying thing is the Doctors are really good when you actually get through. Strongly considering switching doctors

Tried to book an appointment 45 calls made in 45 minutes (line busy) finally get through and no appointments left ive got to leave it till monday, yes ill just ring then oh yes i forgot i work full time i hardly ever go to the drs so when i book an appointment its because i actually need one, maybe the admissions in A&E would go down if more appointments were available at weekends also investing in a new phone system would help so annoying
