Absolutely lovely staff, explained I had anxiety and they did what they could to make me feel comfortable, very efficient and quick even though covid makes things difficult, always seen staff cleaning and wiping down stuff, lady who I spoke to about my glasses prescription was very freindly and lovely, optician himself efficient and quick, listened to my concerns.. would recommend this branch to all.. 5* Excellent

I had an appointment on Sunday 23rd February. I was questioning the strength of my reading glasses and needed help, after not being able to see to do reading/sewing. After a half hour wait , I was bluntly told by the Optometrist DAN POTTS, he " would be reluctant to give a '51 year old woman a +3 prescription" . He asked the age of my children, "grown up I suppose?'" and then went on to ask " are you a Grandmother?" Dan Potts' overall manner was condesending and brusque and ageist. Just to point out : 1 : I already know my age! Don't quote it to me! 2: The ages of my children, had nothing to do with the issue with my glasses. 3: No I am not a Grandmother yet, and this has nothing to do wth my glasses. Was he a Grandfather? 4: Where is the Bedside Manner/Customer Service? I was dealt with brusquely, as if I was a nuisance and how dare I question the prescription. I have never seen an Optometrist before who belittled me in this way , and wanted to make me feel old. He would not have spoken to a man in the same way. He finally decided my reading prescription was too strong and reduced it from +2.0 to +1.75 but no new lenses were ordered. Please do not condesend people who struggle wih new glasses!!!!!! TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT #BE KIND

I always use this firm, because the staff are friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Visited recently for an eye test and the covid security procedures were impressive. I was able to get tested and choose new glasses in a safe, managed and friendly environment. The staff here are doing an excellent job and have my thanks

Hi I just felt uncomfortable. I've never had a eye test. I only work 20 hours a week, didn't know I could get help with a voucher. A man that assisted me at the end, it was him that made me feel like a scrounger as well. When I fetched my glasses a assistant was lovely and explained everything what I had to do to look after glasses. When I booked a appointment I said I just wanted glasses for close up reading. Which I got I'm happy with them. He didn't say if I needed day to day ones while I'm out and about. I did think my test would pick that up that my eyes aren't as good as they should be now I'm in my later 50s.

Great greeting at the door by andrew. Staff make sure all customers hand sanitise on entering shop. Fabulous. 2 lovely pr glasses, great value. Thankyou
