Townlands Memorial Hospital

Townlands is a GREAT facility. Used the minor injuries unit this morning. Booked appointment via 111 and was seen within 30 minutes. Had 4 stitches in cut in hand. Initially went to A&E and told I would have a 5 hour wait. The nurse who dealt with injury was fantastic. So calm and experienced. Need a local anaesthetic in the hand which was a touch painful. Many thanks and 5 stars all the way.

We have just been there because of a trapped nerve in the groin causing excruciating pain (according to a man!)..like a previous reviewer of the hospital did before us getting a 5star review. Unfortunately nothing has been done for us(we were hoping for a strong painkiller while waiting for private chiropractor’s appointment),but we have simply being told that they could not help...probably with a sorry! Not great service considering that the hospital didn’t look very busy.

Walked in with the most painful trapped nerve (so technically not a minor injury) but was seen nevertheless. Angie my Nurse was the most kindest and sympathetic Nurse you dream of seeing and the Dr was amazing too. Straight to the point and had complete faith in his diagnosis. The hospital itself Is spotless and as mentioned the best staff. Thank you so much Townlands 👍🏻

I was extremely impressed with the professional treatment I got on New Year's eve when I gashed my leg very badly. Couldn't not have been treated better anywhere.

The NHS website says Townlands is an Urgent Care Centre. Beware, as it is not. It is a place where NHS Staff sit doing nothing. A medical professional refused to even listen because I was not 'injured'. This place is an utter waste of public funds. A disgrace to the medical profession. Appalling.
