I was unwell day before bank holiday and the doctor called me and wanted to see me! I was going to new York the next day so the doctor waited for me to go in after closing. She was amazing,I referred me to the hospital asap.I have always had good service over 44years.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my grandmother who attend Henford Medical Centre in August and received a car parking fine which she has paid. Last week she received another fine for September. My grandmother phoned the surgery only to be told that the car park had been taken over and was no longer their responsibility. She was told by the receptionist on the phone she should have signed her registration details on a screen in reception. What screen she said! My grandmother told the receptionist she had not received any notifications or a letter through the post about these changes! This has caused her great distress and we are now appealing for the second fine. Whilst on the phone the surgery said they would send a supporting letter to my grandmother to confirm she attended the appointments, so she could send it along with the appeal, but she has not receive any letter. Absolutely disgusted!! patients at the surgery should have received a letter of these changes prior to this happening. My grandmother has been a patient for over seventy years with this practice and has always parked at the surgery car park for her appointments and to pick up her prescriptions.

I just spoke to a very awful, un-friendly, patronising 'Ms Edwards' on the phone, allegedly she is the practice manager. I have never been spoken to in such a manner by someone before. I had a parking fine come through for attending an appointment at Hendford Lodge (I had not registered my car on the iPad) around October of last year. An individual had told me the parking ticket would have been revoked, but it never was. I thought I was going to have a pleasant mature conversation with the practice manager, this is the complete opposite of what I actually got. I have no idea who appointed her as practice manager, but please, give that woman a little more training. Awful service.

I am shocked and appalled that I have received a parking ticket for using the car park of the doctors surgery for an emergency appointment for my 11 month old. This must be a new policy as I have never had this issue before. No one at reception informed me that I either had to purchase a ticket or give my vehicle information. I am awaiting another ticket for yesterday as I was there for my daughters 9-12 month review and was not informed of any change to parking. I will be moving surgery’s. final straw for me! AVOID.
