This is a great surgery unless you are unwell. Been trying to contact them for the past 3 weeks had one call that was put down after 2 rings. Still trying....
So much easier now with AskMyGp app to contact the surgery/book appointments etc in super quick time. Also really impressed by my medication review carried out for the first time today by their resident Pharmacist. No surgery is perfect, and there have been so many changes at Oaklands over the past 20 years since being a patient there, but Oaklands surgery have been working really hard to provide patients with excellent service overall, despite many challenges.
After speaking to several medical staff they are friendly and helpful. However the administrative systems and organisation make the practise difficult and unpleasant to deal with. I find the reception staff to be a little frosty and defensive.
Absolutely appalling surgery. Please try elsewhere..... Since the takeover they have gone from good to "shouldn't be allowed to operate"
Absolute terrible service!! Been waiting 3 days for an appointment and a call back.. can't believe my taxes pay for a place like this.. also lady on reception was rude and had no communication skills at all. Didn't even won't to put 1 star.. DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY !!!
