As someone who is a fan of a National Trust property, I was particularly impressed with this one. Wonderful architecture and beautiful outdoor space, both formal and informal. The whole village is like stepping into a traditional Christmas card.

Great visit not only the house and gardens but whole village is beauty. After walking around the Estate I went through village up to the Hill with tower on the top. Tower closed.

A real gem and a must visit. Beautiful grounds and well worth the walk to the end of the large grass area to look back at the house from a perfectly positioned bench. The house is there in the distance .. I promise!

A lovely place to walk around, though visitors who enjoy flowers may be disappointed considering what's usually available at National Trust properties

lovely place to walk. enjoyed the tree swing too. oh and the fountain. on a hot day would be very refreshing and cooling. fascinating house.
