I woke yesterday with a vision problem. The wife phoned Specsavers and I was given an appointment within the hour. I would like to thank Mr. Patel and the staff at Lichfield for their excellent prompt, efficient and friendly service.

Brilliant service. Good choice of glasses and sunglasses. Staff super friendly and helpful
Purchased new reading glasses in the week before closure due to Covid 19. Optician who conducted eye test was uninterested and was not as thorough as other opticians in the past.When I asked about the cleaning of equipment she sneered it was standard procedure. Nothing wrong in asking under the circumstances. A quick wipe with antiseptic wipe is not really good enough. Showed me items to read at unnatural angles and distances. I only replaced glasses because previous ones had broken arm. Old spectacles much better than new ones so not pleased with test.
Assistants mostly interested in trying to sell me reading and distance glasses because it would increase the cost and their profits. Shop too small, waiting area inadequate even before COVID-19, poorly ventilated and poor choice. I would not recommend.
