A modern clean gym with decent gym equipment, However the gym is busy all the time, equipment is always in use, classes were always fully booked. I prefer something a little less crowded! 🤦🏽Just not for me!
I will never take the gym for granted again. Great to be back. Very good systems put in place, well spaced, plenty of equipment still in use. Lots of regular cleaning stations. Everyone being respectful of each other's space causing minimum disruption. Lots of effort has gone into making arrangements to re-open and it has definitely paid off. See you again tomorrow!
The equipment in the gym is great, lots of variety and plenty of free weights.
The gym has just been moved around to allow more benches wbich is handy and it's not too crowded in the mornings.
There are issues with groups of young lads working out together, not cleaning equipment, not wearing masks and standing close to others which the staff dont seem to care about.
And the new sanitising stations are all basically empty for the past 2 days!
Apart form the safety from covid the gym is nice. The people are pleasant and the changing rooms and floor are clean at least.
Since the gym has re opened, I feel very safe going back and the adaptations that have been made make sure everyone is safe
This place is brilliant for all types of people. Whether you are a beginner (and anxious about going), a moderate user or even advanced and know exactly what you want, this place can cater for you. I've been to many gyms in my time and this one is perfect. There is an app you can download that gives you info on peak times per hour, which is Handy to know if you want to go at quieter times (worth knowing as it's 24hrs). The staff are friendly and everyone just gets on with it. I feel comfortable there. The app allows you to plan and join classes. Which is very easy to use. You can even track your visits and the time you spend in there too, which I find helpful. The changing rooms are great and the showers work just fine! I did learn the hard way that the changing rooms close at 12 midnight. Probably just me not paying attention to be honest . So would be good for that info to be better displayed. There are lockers and a bench outside the changing rooms so you can always lock your stuff away. Loads of machines. I've never been there and Not been able to use something even at peak times, and it does get very busy! There is also free WiFi which is good if you are watching your mobile data. Overall a very good gym!
