On a cold (but sunny! ☀️) day, this was a lovely visit and short walk. Atmospheric, attractive, and very well kept by the 'friends' group. Great signage and info boards/leaflet bringing the past back to life, even for a short while. Will visit again once the museum is open again, but will also seek out the online virtual tour.

Nice Roman site owned by English Heritage. Good parking available. If you want to go straight to the site rather than the village, just ignore the numbered path and walk straight up the road. Lots of information on this site with pretty pictures. A lovely spot for a picnic.

A great open space to see the remains of a baths and another large 'mansio'. The area is a 2 min walk from a small free carpark. The museum is currently closed because of the Lockdown but the ruins are fully accessible.

Somewhat minimal low-rise Roman remains that appear to be held together with modern mortar. Difficult to tell what is original, but the remains of a section of hypercaust heating lends an air of authenticity. And it's free, so what's not to like? Probably not worth a special journey, but if you're driving down the A5 because the M6 toll charge is unjustifiable, pop in for a mooch around.
