For me this is my only local supermarket, it has an instore bakery with a good selection and an even better price, the only problems I have with the place is they don't offer a very wide selection of food choices, I've been in before for ingredients I need to make a recipe but they don't sell them, nothing exotic just some herbs or spices, also the freezer selection is poor, there's not much choice for main meal options. Their "middle aisle" is very interesting though, each week they stock completely different random items, for example one week it could be electrical and the next week it could be toys, it's most certainly worth a look as the items are usually a very good brand and price.

Relatively new to Lidl as I normally go to Aldi. I love the baking section great variety. They had some amazing Black Friday deals. The addition of the Lidl plus is amazing. The scratch cards are fab. I had £12 off my shop last month. Best point app so far as you actually see the rewards. Got some great bargains in the reduced section too.

This Lidl I guess like other branches and other notable discount supermarkets has its pros and cons and the cons could be much worse than here. Overall friendly and helpful staff that are under immense pressure but might I add without blame, as it shows in their manner. The tears of anger are epitomised by the 'go away' checkout process, literally heart breaking but not bank breaking.

LIDL UK still have a long way to go before they are like the one's in Germany. But would need to be bigger stores. However still sell high quality food. Just need more selection of German Beers. And they need to sell Currywurst sauce. And also need to sell all products of Matchbox cars and trucks on a regular basis.
