It's undergoing conservation and refurbishment at the moment, but it's going to be brilliant when it's done.

Very interesting house with lots of civil war history and the Royal Oak tree that Charles II hid from the parliamentarian army in. Spent around three enjoyable hours looking around the house and garden. Well worth a visit. Good tea room that does full meals as well as snacks and a good gift shop.

A historical house that used to be the place protecting Charles II after the battle of Worcester. The Royal Oak tree which Charles II was hidding in can be found near the house today, although it's a descendant. The staff are very knowledgeable and professional, introduced the background of heritage, our visiting became more interesting because of them. The guidebook is very helpful, nice to buy one if want to learn more stories about Boscobel House.

An interesting farm house with two priest holes and a giant oak tree where Charles II hid and escaped from Cromwell’s troops after the battle of Worcester in 1651. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Be careful underfoot due to uneven cobbles.

Very friendly place. We were lucky as we visited on a warm and sunny day. Lovely place to walk around. The royal oak was smaller than I'd imagined (it's not the original but is related to the original!) and Charles II wouldn't have been hidden at all in the present tree's branches. The house and small knot garden are well with worth a visit and the 1940s cafe is very reasonably priced - they do a delicious cream tea... There's a beautiful walk to the White Ladies Priory (or you can drive and then only have a short walk along to the ruin).
