They cinema refused entry to 4 paying customers because they were teenagers and had to money to pay for the tickets, which would have led to their buying food and drink. Empire Cinemas would rather close like many other cinemas than accept payment for 4 customers. Absolutely appalling, you try to support a business and they turn 4 paying customers away. While that may not be a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, it does indicate that the company does not care to try and keep the business afloat and people employed. No valid reason for not accepting the money as all 4 had face masks and were they correct age for the film.

No problem with film or cinema just at 9.25pm when we were going to leave we wanted to buy a soft drink and was told not serving any drinks so we took our trade elsewhere

Great place to go and watch a film at the moment. Support them as it was completely empty when we went, and the comfort, price and quality of venue is so good that they should be busy.
