Went to see 1917 and my friend and I decided we'd support this smaller cinema for a change, (run by a lot of volunteers) knew the film would be immersive anyway so didn't really need all the bells and whistles of the big complexes, loved that we could get a cuppa for a quid and anything else wasn't extortionate prices. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. X

I've visited this cinema on and off for many years. It's changed very little and that's a good thing. If you want to see the latest arthouse film or film with subtitles (go see Parasite - you CAN handle a film with subtitles - it's a classic in the making) then this is the place for you

A town treasure. We must support the IFT and all the work the volunteers do to ensure Ipswich gets films of all denominations well into the future.

Been several times...a great place to see Indie Films, 2 theatres, one large one small.

If you want to see films in focus and without sitting next the The Russell Family, the IFT is only one place in this part of Suffolk.
