A usefull range of products at competitive prices and well stocked. The Co-op range of products are basic at prices to match.
Very friendly and helpful staff and not too busy.
I visited to drop off a Hermes parcel and the place is dirty and unkempt... the entrance is hidden round the back of an industrial estate and the car park is a hodg podge of one way systems and flooded areas due to blocked drains... the staff were nice and accommodating. However, I will not be choosing to go back...!
This is a good shop to go to if you need a few essentials and can't get to the other bigger supermarkets but not the best place to go to do a big shop unless you want to spend more on your weekly food shop. The selection is OK. The Quality could be better for the price. They don't have as many offers as other shops. The tills aren't manned very often, so there's often a slight wait it you've got a trolley but the staff are friendly. The actual building needs work. It looks very run down on the outside which lowers the tone in my opinion. Rusty metal, cobwebs over the delivery area. Damp marks on the ceiling. It needs a good spruce up. A lick of paint would be a place to start.
Good supermarket, convenient if you're at this end of town. Tends to be a bit quieter than others, so very handy if you want to drop in & buy lunch or just a few items. Being a Co-op, has good ranges of fair trade items.
Staff helpful the only prboblem is the odd customer who wont wear a mask. Entry door doesnt open fully so bit tricky to get in on my scooter. Produce good quality and varied
