Big old trees make it so peaceful

We were on a walking tour of St James's Park area in London, and we were led through this place. The whole area is steeped in history and is exceedingly interesting both because of the architecture but also because the things that happened in earlier times.

Lovely place for a picnic. Thomas Rainsborough, a famous Civil War radical or 'Leveller' was buried here. His funeral was attended by thousands who supported his dream of universal suffrage and an end to the monarchy.
