Recently registered having just moved into the area and cannot fault the service at all. Receptionists have all been friendly and helpful, have been able to get through on the phone without hanging on for ages (which was the experience at our last surgery ) and the Dr really put herself out after hours to get me referred to hospital for an urgent scan. Thoroughly impressed so far

I went to this clinic today. I am working as a live in carer a few doors away from this clinic, happy days I thought! I return to my home country to do live in care/ PA from time to time. I live in Egypt and cannot get good medical advice there, I tend to self diagnose my ailments.IE, I broke my wrist in Feb and the barbaric Doctors there pulled it back into place and sewed it up without any anesthetic whatsoever, hence I fainted on the dirty hospital floor. I have a full UK passport, born in Yorkshire and I am registered with a GP in Headcorn, Kent where I worked for one year previously but I cant leave my client and travel there. So, I went into the clinic to try and get seen by a Doctor.I have not been well at all over the past few weeks and have not had blood tests done for years.I have to feel really ill to set foot in a Doctors surgery!I am not a time waster and I know that there is a problem with my health. After leaving my client I went a few doors away to the clinic, filled in a form as a temporary patient. After this, the receptionist went to speak to admin upstairs. She came back down and said that I needed a utility bill and asked if I had a UK passport, also telling me that if I want to see a Doctor I would have to pay!Not the receptionists fault, she was just conveying false info from the powers that be, upstairs! .For Gods sake, I have spent most of my life in the UK, always worked, paid my taxes and yet I cant see a Doctor.I actually left the clinic in tears. How can I get a utility bill if I dont own a home here? I will be quite honest here....If I was an immigrant landing off a boat in Dover I am sure I would receive the best medical attention available and so would all of my family who hadn't worked a day in their life In the UK or owned an English passport!I just hope that I dont have a heart attack or break any bones here..what would I do then?? Totally appalled and disappointed that I could not be seen as a temporary patient. InshAllah, I hope to find a good Doctor in Cairo when I travel back on the 16th Oct. I

First Refused to Register me as a patient so I had to go Direct to one of their Drs who is absolutely lovely and she helped me sort it out. Now I’ve been asked to get a letter from my clients family I’m embarrassed to ask, and cannot ask the person whom I’m caring for as I feel it would not be right. I have never been asked to produce a letter before at any other surgery!? The NHS is helping me, why are some Receptionists so Obstructive ?

Updated review Feb 2020 Phone system nows seems better and holds more people; still, you had better call as close to 8.30 as possible. Recently good doctors although usual NHS re strictions, couldn't get surgery on painful umbelical hernia in NHS.. Not this surgeries fault. ........... Not sure where the fault lies (phone system?) but after attempting to call in from phone opening time of 8:30 almost constantly till 8:39 where I get put on hold for nearly 10 minutes to be told they have no more spaces today... A real shame as when you manage to get an appointment the doctors are usually good and staff competent if not that friendly (but considering they are dealing with the public I can't blame them!) I'm just wondering exactly what do you have to do to get put through the phone system? A sacrifice to the phone system gods perhaps? Needs an upgrade to hold more callers in the queue. Had I been 80 years old and very sick I'd have been extremely angry. Luckily I'm just disappointed and in discomfort..

My father is in hospital because of one of your GP's utter NEGLIGENCE AND FAILURE OF PATIENT CARE AND DUE DILIGENCE. He could have died this morning, wait until our MP and board hears about this. Not to mention the same doctor refused to come out to see me when I was 14 and suicidal because it was dinner time. S H O C K I N G
