Such a lovely place for nice walk after a hearty Sunday lunch
Bluebell woods in April. Decent walks at all times.
It has an amazing Peter Rabbit trial. This kept my 5 & 8 year old interested. It is great visit. Nice coffee shop too.
Well maintained parkland with slightly muddy perimeter path that allows for a decent walk, cafe current open for takeaway menu (tea coffee hot chocolate, small selection of sandwiches) play area currently shut. Dog walkers be aware that large parts of park have grazing cows, so dogs must be on leads in places, but well marked at gates.
Beautiful estate with many working farm fields within a landscaped area and also wooded areas to explore. House is closed due to the lockdown and strict booking is in place for access, however the cafe is available for takeaway and there's roughly 6km of designated trails to explore. Great spot for some exercise and fresh air if you live on the outskirts of London.
