Lamb very very tough, onion bhaji was overdone.. rest of meal was pleasant enough. Atmosphere was good. Family like this place but I prefer other places

Annoyingly this restaurant has no consistent quality control; it can be great or terrible. The weekend before last we had a takeaway and it was amazing so last weekend we ordered the exact same order. This time the amount of meat / seafood in the dishes was less than half that of the week before. We had even put a note on the order to ask them to add a little more cheese to the Sag Paneer dish as the time before it had not had much in it. They completely ignored the note and gave us even less than the time before! As a family we are not particularly heavy eaters and yet we were all stull hungry after this meal due to the lack of protein in the dishes. And to cap it all off we ordered five poppadums and we received two smashed normal ones and three of the little hot peppery ones that no one likes . They charged us £1 per poppadum so £5 for a bag of crumbs! Sort yourselves out Blue Mint!

This place has gone so downhill i would never come back!! Booked a table and was not told until we got there that they were not able to serve alcohol so we could go to the shop next door if we want alcohol and bring it in so other diners were in and out getting drinks. No atmosphere until about 9.30 when the staff put on loud indian music. All tables in centre of restaurant had been removed for social distancing so there were people standing in the middle of the tables collecting orders. Poppadom chutneys were very basic. Only 3 types and the raita was almost white and very milky. Food was luke warm and average quality. Staff were friendly. Deserts were typical frozen indian type. Very expensive for what we had.

Booked a table on line, went to the Blue Mint and was told they did not have a booking in my name. I showed the manager my confirmation email he still said they did not have room for us. No apology! Had to go some where else. No alcohol being served. Shall not be going there!
