Utterly love this place and go as often as i can. Rest your soul and breathe in. You can go anytime of year and there is something to see, but the champion magnolia tree and punch bowl in spring, has to be my favourite time :)

A little piece of heaven on earth and stunning when we visited. A number of walks you can follow and each one is very different and very enjoyable. We turned a corner and saw a solitary deer.

Lovely walks, many different trails to follow, a lovely day out and perfect for picnics.

Had never explored this part of the park but it's beautiful! Gives a very different experience to the lake as everything is beautifully planted and a lot more manicured. Some beautiful views and lots of lovely flowers currently

Truly stunning flowers in the spring - excellent venue for a picnic if you are that way inclined
