Nice memorial surrounded by a bit of a forest. You need to walk some way up the hill to reach the memorial. If you are touring the Runnymede area by bicycle and do not want to cycle up the hill along the Priest Hill, you can quite easily carry/push your bike past the memorial and along the trail to the Oak Lane and then continue for example towards the Air Forces Memorial or Windsor Park.

Quiet and beautiful memoial on American soil in the UK.

This is on the Red Walking Route from the National Trusts walking options. It's a steep but pretty route up so take your time, even children were struggling when we were walking up. We also enjoyed the contemplative seating area to the right of the memorial structure.
