Such a beautiful place for a walk, really cool to see then filming there this morning. Lots of parking, could do with a bit more at 6 ways roundabout

Beautiful and interesting place, with varied scenery and pleasant flat footpaths. Good for those of us who find it a little harder to get around. It’s busy at the weekends with dog walkers and families, but it’s a big place and still feels comfortable. For extra flavour , the sandpits were the scene where the Martians landed in H G Wells’ The War Of The Worlds (he lived locally).

Wonderful wood and heathland walks plus the famous H G Wells sand pit but the car park is very small.

Forgot how big this place was. Great to explore. Free parking and close by to M25 abd Woking town centre.
