I love going to this place. It's not well signposted and it's a hike from any car parking until the new facilities are finished (not even started thanks to covid). Early summer when the statues seem to rise out of a sea of daisies and poppies is the prettiest time, but it's moving experience at any time. Wear your most comfortable walking shoes. The walk across Epsom Downs is not bad either!

Calm, peaceful and a lovely place to stop and visit. Don't do what we did and try and walk the direct route thru the field. Go around the outside by the path (which isn't obvious but hunt it out)

Absolutely beautiful and a very fitting tribute to those lost 100 years ago. Highly recommended for a stunning walk. Well done The Woodland Trust!!
