Excellent service. Really friendly staff, Lucy was really polite and made us feel very welcome. She was very attentive, checking everything was correct. The food was delicious and portion sizes were massive and great value for money. We felt very safe and everyone seemed to be adhering to social distancing. Can’t fault the service or the food, we will be returning soon
Warm friendly feel to this place, always get my takeaway carvery from toogoodtogo at a very cheap price. The food is always packed well and still hot! We never seem to get any meat though 😔😔 but cant complain at the price really.

i had a lovely experience with you today. the staff were so polite and attentive! Bradley was very helpful and the pub safe monitor was doing an excellent job. the toilets were immaculate! Will definitely be returning to such a wonderful place! Also, special thanks to Gemma and Jess who explained everything including the new carvery process. Thank you all!
Would highly recommend! The pub is well laid out to comply with social distancingn ensuring you always feel safe. The staff are all extremely politle and attentive, they will always seem to go the extra mile to ensure excellent service. The food is always marvellous too. If your not sure where to go; go to middlemarch. Additionally, whilst most pubs have reopend with reduced menus and increased prices, this place had extended its menu and continues to offer excellent value.
Even with a teenage child we were forced to sit in the family area. Which was as relaxing as sitting in the middle of Oxford Street in rush hour, although that would have been quieter. Food was slow and almost inedible. Service was poor. Only went the once or twice and will never go back.
