Ordered mushy peas with our meal, the owner literally walked to the shop next door, purchased an 85p tin of mushy peas, returned, then split it into two tubs, microwaved them and sold it to us for £1.25 each. So we effectively paid £1.65 for 30 seconds in a microwave.
The fish was good, but the pea incident left a somewhat sour taste in my mouth. Obviously cheap microwaved peas do not taste good.
Always fresh cooked . Smashing pineapple fritters.
Very good food and great customer service. Will definitely be going there again. Thank you!
