Quiet location. Alright to visit anytime but you can only gain entry to the windmill on specific dates. Venue may be hired for private events up to six times per year.
Beautiful location combined with fascinating engineering still in working order. Friendly and helpful guides. Take a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Steep wooden steps if you want to see inside the mill but worth the climb.
You have to understand the architecture to really appreciate this site. Take a guide with you. Micheal Osbourne took us and it was fantastic.
