I needed inspiration for a dinner party starter and was thinking along the lines of scallops. The incredibly helpful fishmonger provided a tub of fresh delicious large scallops together with a brilliant recipe including mint pea puree and crumbled black pudding. They went down a storm. He also provided the fresh mint ! Thank you.
Avoid if you not local. We bought four fish. On the counter they have only 3 so one needed to be bring from the back. Supposed to be £8.5 when we ask for the price but we been charged £10. When we arrive to our holiday park 25 minutes later we found that one of this fish is rotten. Tourist are easy target but nowadays there is internet. Three other fish was fine and tasty.
Had beautifully fresh mackerel fillets and tiger prawns from here yesterday. Also bought some local Porthmadog honey. Thoroughly recommend.
Great service and fantastic fresh seafood. Sashimi grade tuna was brilliant.
The fish is lovely and so is the service, love our visits.
