From outside village hall, inside awesome.
Full of light from numerous stained glass windows. Ceiling covered with beautiful copy @ 2/3 scale Sistine chapel. Add quirky Last supper, magnificent. Booked visit by phone, greeted at entrance, and after seating, gave us a fantastic resume of church, artist ( still around). After that free to look around, take pic's, no rush. All for a voluntary donation.

Looks interesting but we couldn't get in. Book in advance.
This is a very different church. It is covered in paintings that can be seen in the Sistene Chapel Rome. You can go in and see them at no charge, however donatone will be accepted. The parish priest is a very friendly old Irishman. What a wonderful experience. Can be enjoyed without the crowds that are in Tome.
We were met by a wonderfully helpful, friendly and informative lady who gave up her time give my family a fascinating insight into the creation of the amazing murals on the ceiling and walls of the church by 'Gary'. She also told us about the beautiful stained glass windows too. A great and inspiring visit.
