Enjoyed our lunch in Pembrokeshire College Restaurant today. Although it is a teaching restaurant the quality of the food was excellent as was the service. The choice, of necessity, is limited there was a good choice of starters and the main courses consisted of a vegetarian dish and a chicken carvery, followed by a dessert. This of course changes daily so that the students get a good grounding in different dishes and techniques. A good selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks is available.
Alongside the restaurant is a well appointrd and comfortable Coffee Shop.
It is only open during the teaching week and certain evenings but, is limited to the academic term time.
If you are in the area it is certainly well worth a visit.
The food here is usually good and service pleasant but the use of 'No problem' should be banned here and in every Cafe and restaurant in the land. 'Certainly' 'my pleasure' or just 'yes madam' would be appropriate in virtually every circumstance. Normal service should never be a problem if it's your job.
Great staff, nice to talk to. Food was good, coffee was delicious!
