First time at Vue since they re-opened.
We wore masks in until we got to our screen then removed them.
A warning. Theres NO pick n mix(!) I know, i felt the same way 😆 . They are still doing bagged sweets, drinks, popcorn etc.
The staff were all great and masked up too. Popped my mask back on when i nipped to the ladies. All good there too. Theyve shut off some of the hand dryers to keep a safe distance from one another but tbh the place was very quiet so it wasnt an issue.
As per most places now, follow the flow arrows in/out. And atm its reduced prices (even better!). Enjoy! We did despite the changes. Oh and adverts and trailers are back (i quite liked not having any ads tbh).
I have always liked Vue as my go to cinema. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and tidy and the movie experience is amazing. Cinema can these days be a little expensive especially for a whole family to go. This said there are offers out there if you know where to look.
COVID secure is done well. Somehow there was no sweet popcorn available. Went to go and see Tenent on Saturday 29th august. VIP seats were nothing that special really. Just able to lean back a bit. My biggest problem with my experience was the volume of the film. It was way too loud, we only lasted 7 minutes of this film purely because it was so uncomfortably loud.
I'm very disappointed with vue today. Me and my friends decided to watch the movie "Halloween" as it was 31st October. On the website it displayed the modern version of the film which was the one released in 2018 with this accompanied there was the trailer for that film as well. However, I when we arrived we received stale popcorn and the film was the Halloween made in the 1970s around. Very disaspointed about this false advertising.
Very nice place , sound was too loud but in overall really pleasant place
