I cannot recommend Gas Station Fitness enough! The coaches and members are what make this place great. I joined 6 weeks ago as part of the "28 Day Challenge" and have loved every second (and am now a fully fledged member!). From the first moment I walked in, I was welcomed and supported by everyone. There is NO judgement for what you can or can't do, or how much you can lift; everyone shouts words of encouragement to push you to do your best. The coaches are amazing teaching every movement and telling you how to adjust to improve your technique. And the members are genuinely so kind, motivating and a great laugh! I have never left a Crossfit session here without a smile on my face! Thank you so much and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey here :)
I've been with Gas Station fitness for a good number of years now and could never return to a normal gym! Each session you get 1:1 help - nothing like a mainstream commercial gym. You will learn proper technique with every movement another thing you never learn at a normal gym! Access to all sorts of nutritional advice. Every session is completely new and fresh you will never do the same session twice - you will get a proper sweat on !! The community is one of the main things that makes Gas Station so awesome we have socials and meet ups all the time everyone is really good friends and really supportive of each other - it's like nothing else ! come and try - you won't regret it !!
I am training at Gas Station Fitness for 1.5 years now. Without any doubts I can say joining Gas Station Fitness was one of the best decisions I have ever made. A highlight of GSF are the coaches. They explain every movement in great detail, push you in each workout and if you have questions they are more than happy to answer them. Another amazing fact about CrossFit Slough is the community. You feel welcome from the first class independent of your skill or fitness level.
I am new to CrossFit and still learning new things all the time, but the team at Gas Station have been very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Throughout this 2nd lockdown they have managed to keep us all super fit and strong with using the equipment that people have at home. I feel so fit and ready to go back into the box when gyms are reopened
This is the best fitness club I have ever been to. The coaching staff and community are excellent. They programme their work out in such a way that people of all abilities can challenge themselves. Yes it is slightly more expensive than your normal gym but it is definitely worth it.
They went that extra mile during the lockdown, seamless switch over to zoom based classes, community events etc , definitely saved me from going down hill.
After all, it is a family run business and they care. Highly recommend, give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
