Well where to start. Huge portions of chips, large standard size fish, always freshly cooked. Kebab naan is great, mixed meat if you want or either one or the other, topped with salad and sauces. Absolutely superb. Then the staff, well they are a credit. Very friendly, polite and very professional at their jobs. Get there once and you'll not regret it

Amazing friendly service, beautiful food, big portion sizes and great prices! We as a family were lost as far as a great chippy went after Tony's shut down and having food from Newtown Fryer is a complete flash back. Thank u to the lovely staff and our delivery guy. If summed up in one word "FANTASIC!" 💜

I am hyper critical of fish and chip shops but this one impressed me. I have to say I only bought a cone of chips. So I can't comment on the fish etc. Waiting - There were two customers already in the shop but I was served in under a minute. It was the first time I had been in the shop but received a smiling welcome from the lady behind the counter. As she served me I looked on in astonishment as she kept piling on the chips. I commented "That's a huge cone you've given me". The lady told me, "We're not shy in here love". There were so many that I shared them with a nurse, who told me "I won't need to have anything for tea now". Critically, the chips were perfectly cooked and piping hot, which is something too many chip shops struggle with. I will without doubt return to Newtown Fryer.

Very helpful staff and extremely clean the guy working there is very helpful and nothing to much trouble for him best fish and chip shop in Worcester bar far would give it 10 stars if I could.

Best in Worcester in my opinion. Cod always cooked fresh everytime i go there. Yes, I have to wait for it to be cooked but it's worth waiting for. 10 minute drive from my house and I pass other chip shops but I wouldn't go anywhere else..
