Friends Malayali Asian Store

Worst customer service I think I've ever experienced! Visited this store twice. The first visit I was in the store for over 45 minutes, it's a small shop and clearly very popular, but it became apparent that the queue was taking so long because the man serving behind the counter was incredibly slow. He wasn't at all friendly or polite during the transaction either, only plus was the really helpful lady who worked in the store who helped me find what I was looking for. Second visit to the store today. I waited for over 30 minutes in a queue for the meat, in which time only two customers were served before the butcher disappeared. With several customers still in front of me in the queue I decided to give up and leave. On my way out I mentioned to the man behind the counter that there was no one working at the meat counter. He clearly heard me but decided to ignore me, I repeated myself and was told 'they are having a drink'. I told the man that there were several people waiting and had been for a long time, and suggested they should have a couple of people working there so the butcher doesn't get so overwhelmed. Again, the man behind the counter completely blanked me. His arrogance and rudeness shocked me, in a halal store you would expect staff to have manners and show respect to fellow brothers and sisters. So disappointed, will never give money to this store again.

This is by far the best world food range in miles around. The store is packed to the brim with merchandise and holds more merchandise than one can imagine. surely can feel butts brush but the range and prices makes up for it. East Asian, South Asian, African.....you can find everything in this hidden gem of a store. The management is friendly and really values their customers unlike many snobish Asian stores in the UK. And they deliver too.

Excellent Service, University Student here was looking for a service to get items i needed. Very friendly and understanding staff. Would definitely reccomend!

Excellent local Asian store filled to the brim with delicacies and specialized foods. Just about every spice you would ever need. 10 medium chilli peppers and a garlic bulb is 36p or similar. Naan breads of every type. PLUS it offers a service for Amazon to have your parcels delivered there which is very convenient!

Was very busy, so couldn't buy anything due to the long queues. But they seem to have everything you'd need
