From the moment I walked in the service I received was brilliant. The salesman listened to what I was looking for, showed me relevant alternatives and explained all the options available to me for colour, finish, aftercare and delivery. I can wholeheartedly recommend SCS Cambridge to anyone lookin for a new sofa or suite.

Like all big store`s they jump on you as soon as your in the door. That because there wage is linked to sales. Anyway as my wife had been in a few days earlier we knew what we wanted so got a deal done and bought a new 3 seater and 2 seater recliner.

On entry to ScS in Cambridge we were greeted by Tommy Prior who took us round and left the wife and I alone when we needed to decide which suite to buy. excellent salesman, very polite and curtious . Now waiting to hear when delivery date will be, have been promised before christmas . Thanks Tommy Tony & Jean Grass

Absolutely shocking!!! Shop elsewhere! Ordered a sofa and footstool on 1st of August on a Saturday morning with a 9-10 week delivery time scale due to COVID. After leaving Cambridge and getting to Peterborough (not long) I got a funny feeling so double checked the confirmation email.. our footstool was ordered in a complete different colour to our sofa, and were over charged nearly £300 (the sofa and footstool were on sale, but as we purchased all the fabric care, easy glides etc we didn’t realise in the shop we were over charged but this was still a £2000 suite) we rang up straight away and we got a call back the next day to sort it out. After realising we were on week 10 and 2 days, we rang to ask where our sofa was, we were told if we don’t get a call by the end of the week we had to CALL THEM to book a time slot and will have the sofa by 21st Oct .. so we did, we were then told that information was not correct and the earliest the warehouse will have the sofa will be 21st Oct as they’re struggling with staff due to COVID, so orders are pushed back.. but we were not told this, we hadn’t heard anything since we called them to correct the mess up. We have now rang them 3 times and they have said THEY will ring us when they hear anything so we don’t need to ring them anymore, and were told it’ll be the very end of October at the earliest...We were suppose to have our sofa on the 2nd October, but because the manager messed our order up by ordering in the wrong colours and wrong price, this was pushed back to 21st October (even tho it was all corrected that same day/next morning) told we will get a call 1 week before delivery to book a time slot.. we are now on 28th October and still NOTHING. We were never told our order would be pushed back because THEY ordered it wrong. Shocking customer service. Take people’s money then don’t even keep us updated or give us correct updates when we ring, we’ve been told 3 different things. No sofa no footstool and have absolutely no idea when we will get our order, and I can imagine it will arrive wrong as well. Shop elsewhere because I wish I did!

Our experience was awful. We felt pressurised to buy a substandard sofa which I think may have been 'dead stock'. We continously asked the sales person to give us a few minutes to look around and make up our mind but he wouldn't leave us alone. He insisted on us buying insurance for the sofa and even though we kept saying we didn't want it he continued pressurising us to buy it. Later on we realised he was keen on us getting the insurance because the sofa had some faults. The zip was broken and there were stains on it, showing its age. After vehemently refusing to buy the insurance, the sales assistant looked disengaged and the jovial person he had been disappeared. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.
