Very poor environmental credentials. We tried to return some items, unused and still in their original packaging, and we were very clear that we did *not* expect any refund. We just wanted to dispose of the items responsibly, knowing that they were still in stock in Howdens and therefore could be re-sold. Howdens informed us not to bother - they would not accept the items back - and told us to just throw them in the landfill bin. What a waste :( Very sad and disappointed that this is the norm in the building industry.

Chris Young - Counter sales, was incredibly helpful. After visiting two other local stores with almost no assistance he couldn't do enough to help me, even though my enquiry was relatively small, he took time to understand the problem, went and measured up possible draw options and gave a very personal service...he really cared about helping the customer. Well done Howdens! I'll be back to buy my kitchen from you.
