I was slightly suspicious of a yellow uncooked batter under 1st coating ,ie the chef needs to check he drains batter on fish before frying. I am not too keen on a mouthful of sponge!
Our go to chippie. The nearest fish and chip shop- although it's still 4 miles away. Definitely worth the trip. HUGE portions and delicious food!

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon and asked for a mixed Lamb Kofte and Chicken kebab with a portion of chips. The look I got was if I asked them to cook up their first born. Definately no service with a smile here. The meat on the kebab was dry and tasteless. The chips cold and tasted they had been cooked in month old oil. Both got thrown away without barely half of it being eaten. Such a shame as I had high hopes as it had been recommended and has won numerous awards. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, maybe it just wasn't to my particular taste. Either way, I will not be returning
