Cheap, delicious food and friendly staff
Great option to get indian cuisine in Cambridge.
Reasonable price lunch at 5.99 (Buffet)In veg you will get plain rice, fried rice two types of pulses one mix vegetable, chapati, curd, salad and one dessert. In non veg you will get chicken curry and tandoori chicken.
The service was great, really relaxed and friendly. If you like spice then you won't be disappointed but if not there are plenty of options too. Highly recommend the chicken Makhanwala for mild heat and nicely balanced spices.
Fantastic food, but service needs to improve. There were hardly any people when we came, but the waiter wanted to order all the starters and mains in one go. I ordered garlic nan, but was served plain nan, not that the nan was bad but I didn't get what I ordered.
The buffet is not worth the money. The food was low quality and only few options. For most of the time we were there the buffet was half-empty and the refill took ages. As for the taste, frozen supermarket curry tastes much better. We waited too long for the food to come and once there was finally something to eat we were so disappointed. We paid and left hungry. The whole experience was so bad that I felt obliged to leave a review. We won't go back and won't recommend the place.
