Was really excited to try this but I really don't see what the fuss is about.The two staff were not wearing any masks or gloves (on 30/12/2020 at about 4pm)
I really hope I don't get ill from this burrito but I think I am starting to feel ill right now this morning...
Everything was so bland and taste-less no flavour in the hot salsa at all.
For £8 the burrito was a rip off. It was worse than the wicked kitchen burritos from tesco (the vegan ones.)
Really friendly staff, and really good food (although the burritos can drip if you out too much in them, oops) lots of food delivery guys coming in and out, which is a testament to the quality. Can't recommend enough.
An average veering on pricey place for what you get
I got a massive veggie nachos portion which was really good but my partner got a mild beef burrito which was just watery mince and rice with no discernible flavour. Maybe getting a spicy one helps?
But honestly don’t waste getting a meat when the veggie portion is bigger and nicer.
Worth coming if you’re hungry/ mildly drunk but it’s not life changing.
Been going to Nanna Mexico for over 10 years, never disappoints. Even the veggie burritos are good, I tried the Pepper and Onion.
The best thing since sliced bread... until you try Mission Burrito. Mission Burrito is the greatest thing on gods fine earth and unfortunately Cambridge does not have one. In Nanna Mex you will find a strong runner up, slightly worse than Mission Burrito in every way, yet sufficiently alike for the food to be lightly blessed, if not full canonised. The veggie burritos are particularly good, although the option for brown bread as well as white would be welcome. A little pricey at £7.30, but the taste if not heavenly is... (like the wrapping)... firmly to the good side of purgatory. The best Mexican takeout in Cambridge... that will leave you dreaming of Oxford.
