Deal with police all the time and these are the nicest lot i have encountered so far, even after arrest they looked after my dog and remained friendly and courteous the whole time. A benchmark to police forces across the country

Was treated with kindness and dignity all through my 28 hr stay , nothing was too much , even slept better than at home , though I dont plan to repeat the experience , barrow police are not to be feared if you're struggling with your mental health

Excellent communications between Barrow Police and myself when my son was missing. Can not fault their efforts in helping to locate him and ensure he was safe Very professional, helpful and empathetic personnel which is a great thing when our police forces are overstretched as it is.
