Our guide was Sonya and she thoroughly bought alive some of the history of Cambridge. While I'm not academic, I had no trouble following what she said about the history of the colleges and I really enjoyed listening to her stories and anecdotes. I'd totally recommend booking this tour as it's a lovely way to learn about Cambridge, and is full of interest without being stuffy. The two hours went by really quickly.

I was half expecting the guide would not show up but she did. The guide is a Cambridge student and was well versed with the history of the town and university. However, I must say that most tourists are not that academic scientifically or historically. I felt many in the group had no idea what was being said because there was a lot of assumed knowledge by the guide. Tourists are not Oxbridge graduates. Some down to earth explanation would be more helpful. The guide promised to send group photos but she did not. I should have halved my tip since she can't be trusted. Would I recommend? Probably not.

I can't review the tour, b/c when we showed up at the meeting point, no one was there. However, the tour guide called and apologized & offered a private tour at our convenience. You get 5 stars for that alone.

Our guide Grace was incredible! She was so patient while answering our questions. And she always smiled throughout the tour. Thank you Grace!

Our tour of Cambridge was entertaining and highly informative. Our tour guide, Will, did an outstanding job. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. He was witty and engaging, with lots of marvelous stories of college life as lived in times past and today.
