This was a new discovery for me whilst I was walking along Barnwell Road. It is a Local Nature Reserve and it was clear that it wasn't a big area but I popped in to take a look around. It's a bit mixed, some parts appear to have been there for ages yet other bits seem to be a work in progress. There isn't that much to see to be honest but with a bit of effort and creative thinking it could work as a little oasis of nature for wildlife and the local community. I hope they haven't given up totally on the project as that would be a shame. I will have another visit in the summer to see if anything has changed.

Not very well maintained unfortunately. The pond area is overgrown, so you can't really see much. Plus the paths are in need of some maintenance.

Can see parts of the airport and a lovely quiet place to visit.

Hidden and not much to see, but that's really it's beauty!
