Was really nice, lot of character inside. Great beer but to get to 5-star would be nice to see another local beer. But was fab. Views were great from the garden. Was great being in the country and hearing all the sounds the horses and cows.
A cosy and lively old pub in a picturesque setting.
The food was good, and plentiful. It is rare that I cannot finish the plate but this was one of those occasions! Make sure you've got a big appetite before booking here.
Couldn't have asked for friendlier service here. The staff were all incredibly lovely people and couldn't do enough to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. The food is truly beautiful, the jus with the lamb rack was out of this world and will definitely be visiting again!
Olde world place tucked away in the back streets. Good food and nice choice of drinks. The Wainwrights was exceptional.
Lovely home cooked pies, burgers and service - perfect on misty day in peak district when lock down over.
