Faultless; lightly battered haddock full of fresh meaty flavour, first-rate chips, friendly staff and quick service. Portion sizes are amazing, food always fresh and tasty We go here fairly regularly and have recommended it to others too. A very clean shop, 5 stars rated in food and hygiene. My partner reckons one of the best fish and chips she had so far.
Not good. Got some chips and they were hard, dry and had hair stuck to two of them. Do not recommend.
Called at 1135, closed and no lights on , although the sign on door says opens 1130.
The weather was atrocious, so made my way back to the car. Then the lights were turned on, so I tried again .... door still locked and then a woman inside held her hand up showing me 5 minutes...... wet through.... I gave it a miss.
Maybe Bill needs a clock !.... or at least a better consideration of customers
Best fish and chips always great
disappointed today that the fish cooked to order was handled with bare hands. He also took money off a customer, and then returned to the fryer without washing hands. Bit worrying, might not bother again. Several in the shop, not large enough for more than three to wait safely
