Good, place to get fit. Clean.
Great since the refurbishment. I enjoy the cafe and the staff are good at following Covid rules. Very clean and tidy.
I only use the pool so I can't comment on the gym. The pool is 25 meters with 8 lanes. The unisex changing facility is clean and there are different size lockable cubicle to cater for individuals, families and the disabled (wheel chair users). There is a baby changing facility and there are different size lockers for your clothes which mirror the size of the cubicles a 1£ coin or trolley token is required to lock the locker.
The pool itself remarkably clean and tidy, the water is pleasantly warm and the clorine level is quite low but it does the job and means my eyes don't water for hours after a swim.
Since Covid 19 the regime has changed with the pool divided into 3 lanes, slow, medium 7 fast or Slow, Medium/Fast & family dependant on what time it is; with a maximum of 6 swimmers per lane
Warm pool, friendly staff, guards doing an excellent job of keeping pool etiquette running smoothly. Great value.
First time at Eckington for a lane swim due to covid you have to pre-book your session which was quite straight forward.Staff and Customers are adhering to the procedures in place and the system seems to be running well
