Great little Coop store with very friendly staff. As usual Coop prices aren't always the cheapest but they do often have offers on. It's the price you pay for convenience I guess. Decent range of items though and they do have a few magazines.

Just popped in for some milk and butter and spent over 20 pounds. Great range of products for a small shop. May not always have exactly what you want, but will have something similar. Sells fresh meat and fresh baked items and is very handy for our house.

Limited choice but has the majority of what you'd need from a corner shop. Six different types of peas though and none of them mushy!
