Despite lots of terrible reviews I decided to give Padarn Surgery a try, and I'm glad I did! The first time I called for an appointment, it did take about a half hour to get through to reception, but then I had a phone assessment with a GP within the hour and was seen for an exam the same day. I ended up needing to see the physiotherapist as well and got an appointment within the next week. The receptionists were very kind when I showed up having forgotten the name of the GP I had an appointment with, and both the GP and physio were brilliant and helped sort out my chronic hip pain and gave me a treatment plan. I loved my experience here and definitely recommend giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Exceptional doctors and nurses, and lovely receptionists. They work hard and I always feel like I am properly listened to. The surgery is clean and spacious, and staff are not afraid to ask each other for a second opinion.
I had two very mixed experiences. A few months back, I couldn't even make an appointment because the line was always busy. This time, it took me 15 minutes to reach reception. My doctor then called me the same day, aksed me about all of my symptoms and we arranged an appointment the next day. The doctors and nurses were incredibly polite, friendly and professional.
Been here for 4 years and honestly I could not recommend this surgery at all. I've dealt with unsympathetic doctors, confusion at the surgery and lost prescriptions. Go to Church instead
Busy but fantastic doctor's surgery. Been with them for years, received all sorts of advice and treatments from the best care, and wouldn't change surgery at all.
