Went today for an eye test today after having been referred for Cataracts by Specsavers and having both eyes operated on. Had an amazing eye test all the staff were friendly and professional and all the social distancing methods were put in place I tried on about 15 pairs of spectacles which I had to put in a box to be cleaned I chose 2 pairs and I was spoilt for choice. They will be ready in about 10 days and I can't wait to pick them up.They were a brilliant price. Would definitely recommend Specsavers at Honiton to everyone. My husband also had a eyetest and chose some new spectacles and he was more than happy with the service he received. Thanks to everyone.
Covid safe environment. Rung about broken glasses frame and they saw me the same day. Very efficient and excellent customer service.
Went for an eye test last week. They are extremely well set up for Covid-19, I felt extremely safe the entire time I was there. I had my appointment with Caroline and she was absolutely fab, very good at explaining everything and reassuring and personable.
Having had a bad experience with the Honiton branch I wrongly decided to try them with contact lenses.
Having worn them some years ago I thought ‘what can go wrong’,
I went through the procedure of eye checks etc and was then asked if I had a prescription which I had taken with me albeit almost a year old. Knowing that my sight had deteriorated over tha past 12 months I was surprised when the lady in question said that she would use that one, however she is the expert?!
I was given some trial lenses and sent on my way. I couldn’t see out of my right eye which looking back was not a surprise knowing that my eyes had deteriorated.
I made an appt. with Boots Opticians who were brilliant and as such I am now wearing their contact lenses.
I believe that the big problem with Specsavers is that they get in as many customers as possible and that’s where the service goes wrong.
Having tried them several times in the past you always appear to see different people and that speaks volumes.

Excellent opticians very helpful staff and professional my wife i just purchased glasses from them and picked them up today and had a very good service from them ensuring they fitted properly. Would use again
