Tesco Pharmacy

The pharmacy staff in Tesco Salisbury are absolutely outstanding. They always provide excellent service with a smile; regardless of how busy they are. I just want to say thank you! Throughout this pandemic they have worked tirelessly to assist the public with their healthcare needs. I am really grateful to each and every one of you. Many thanks, Lucy Price.

A serious risk to your health! Substituted a medication on prescription telling me it was an equivalent despite the required medication being specifically stated on the prescription. It caused serious side effects and when I contacted my GP they were alarmed at what had been substituted - it was not the same and should not have been given. They advertise a drop and shop service - nothing ever seems to be available for that service. If you get your prescription sent electronically they do nothing with it and then tell you that they need to order the medication when you try to collect it. I have never been able to collect a prescription when it should be ready, I have had little choice of pharmacy as I need one that is open late. Having allowed 4 days for them to prepare my latest prescription, when I went to collect it I was told yet again that they would have to order it - despite the 4 days notice. They tried to blame my gp for sending the repeat prescription late but their own paperwork showed it had been sent on time, they had chosen to do nothing with it. Further more the remarkably cold and unhelpful person on the counter told me I should drive to Andover (20 miles away) to see if they had it there! Simply not an acceptable response. So I will have to go 3-4 days without a medication that I need to take every day whilst I wait for them to order it. Thank you Tesco Pharmacy,, how on earth are you allowed to continue providing such a dangerous service?! I will be moving the selected pharmacy for my repeat prescriptions with immediate effect as I would quite like to keep living!

I called this Pharmacy to simply ask about whether they were able to order in any Rabies Vaccinations if I came in with a prescription. The member of staff on the phone was unable to give me any useful information whatsoever and kept on telling me to come in at 3 O'clock the next day. I explained that I couldn't come in then but he just kept repeating that I needed to come in at that time. He hung up on me when I asked if there was nothing he could do for me now in terms of telling me any prices or any information whatsoever. This is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever received. I will not be calling back.

Helpful staff, long opening hours and being within Tesco's makes it very handy.
