What a truly amazing find. I was looking for lace for an outfit for my sons wedding, and found this wonderful place very close to where I live. I cannot praise Margaret enough for her knowledge of the stock they carry and the service I received was outstanding. She listened to what I was looking for, matched fabrics together and checked against my skin tone, both in artificial and natural light. Margaret made my feel so welcome, she is such a lovely genuine person. The quality of the Lace, Silk and the other material I ordered is amazing. I'd looked at other sites before finding Harrington, and they would only send samples. It was lovely to be able to compare colours and feel the fabric. In fact I shed a tear when we finally settled on the ones I wanted. Cannot wait to get the outfit made up by my dressmaker

I popped in for materials regarding my wedding dress that's being made in New Zealand. I was dreading it as I had no idea where to start. The service we received went above our expectations. Everything was so professional, personal and fantastic down to posting the fabrics to New Zealand. I came away with everything that I needed for my dress at very competitive prices. I will also be going back to sort fabrics for my bridesmaids dresses as I was so impressed. Highly recommended! Thank you!

I visited Margaret last week for a bridal appointment, having come highly recommended from my Mother-in-law to-be. The whole experience was wonderful, Margaret didn't hold back with offering her suggestions but did not come across as pushy and instead was as you would want; a professional giving her opinion in the perfect manner. The fabrics are just beautiful and there is a very good selection to look at. I found exactly what I was looking for to create my dream wedding dress and would absolutely recommend you try Harringtons for fabric if creating or having your own dress made! I will be back for my bridesmaids fabric soon :)

We went to Harrington Fabric and Lace today having been a bit stuck on wedding dress and bridesmaid dress fabric - they were so amazingly helpful! We found exactly what we were looking for and were able to spend time seeing how it would all work together. They are so knowledgeable about all the fabrics - cannot recommend enough!
