Wonford Green Surgery

If you've never played DR Roulette before this is your surgery. You get an appointment on the day (as we all get told you need to call at 8.30am on the day you need an appointment though they fail to tell you the other "secret" options they have of getting an appointment)and you get a random doctor and it's likely one you've not met before, you just never know who you'll end up with. Yesterday I was entertained by another locum whom asked me why I was there. I was there because I couldn't get my blood results back without seeing her. When I explained this instead of giving me my results she made me explain all my symptoms from scratch like it was the first time I had ever been there for the pain I've been experiencing. She lacked complete empathy and to give you an idea of what I was up against,she read a some letter which according to her said I've previously had physiotherapy. I could clearly see the letter she pulled up said PSYCHOLOGY so I had no help in hell in feeling like I was sitting with a competent professional. As per usual with the incompetent ones I was fobbed of with 28days worth of pain killers and told for the umpteenth time to come back if it gets worse. Let me add that I already called at 8.30am two days ago to get this appointment but they only had two timings available and due to me working I couldnt attend. On a confidentiality note - my boyfriend rang on behalf of me towards the end of last year. He gave my name to book an appointment as I was driving. To confirm they had the right person the receptionist on the phone told him my first line of my address. Luckily for me this was a genuine call but had this of not been I do wonder how much responsibility they would have taken . Its worrying to think that this surgery had some (and it is only some) receptionists whom have no idea about confidentiality or safeguarding. It's currently coming up to 6am and thought this was the perfect time to write a review to give an idea how a lack of care is effecting my life, sleep and work I do want to leave something on a positive and that is that there is a brilliant receptionist whom works there and two doctors whom unfortunately I very rarely can get an appointment with. However due to the lack of incompetency overall and with other patients I know whom use this surgery having problems I never feel I have the confidence in how one should feel in using their surgery

Find it quite concerning how this surgery disregards some problems, and the lack of support is quite frustrating. It seems to take ages to get help if you tell them a concern about yourself or somebody else. Glad I have a more understanding surgery now.

Honestly has to be the most disfuctional doctors sergary I've even been registered with! It's impossible to get an appointment and you have to ring at half 8 every morning on the dot to make an appointment and all appointments are taken within 10 minutes and also so many different doctors as well you never get to see the same doctor and it just makes things difficult! I'm registering with a new doctors today!

I know doctors are busy but being 35 mins late... the surgery is empty but yet the doctors is 35 mins late... if we was late I wouldn't get seen

Fabulous service my whole family has been with Wonford green since it was built I have always found the doctors to be there for me when I need them and they have always sorted me out to get back on the road to recovery very quickly. I certainly have no complaints what so ever.
